An art exhibit inspired by the pilgrimage of North Americans to a sacred Christian site in Spain will be opening in London Jan. 23.
A committee from King’s University College and the local London Pilgrim community is bringing the touring exhibit titled Sacred Steps on the Camino to the local area. The exhibit was created by those who walked on the Camino de Santiago in Spain.
The opening reception will be held at King’s Monsignor Wemple Building, Room W120, on Friday, Jan. 23 from 7-10 p.m. Arthur Boers, author of The Way is Made by Walking, will offer the address.
At the close of the exhibit on Feb. 15, a reception will be held from 2-4 p.m. at King’s and will feature a panel discussion by artists and other presenters.
This art exhibit has toured North America since March 2007 and following its London showing, it will travel to St. James Cathedral in Toronto.
