The Western Mustangs men’s basketball team had their hearts broken on a last second shot, giving the Carleton Ravens a 66-65 win in CIS semifinal action at Ottawa’s Scotiabank Place Saturday night.
With five seconds on the clock, Western’s Matthew Curtis made two free throws to give the Mustangs to 65-64 lead, but the Ravens Stu Turnbull ran the floor and sank a buzzer-beater to send his No. 1 ranked team to the finals on Sunday versus UBC.
