The Western community is mourning the death of Natalie Woolley, a Faculty of Social Science student, who died Tuesday, May 1.
A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 10 at St. Mary’s Church, 5251 Joyce St., Vancouver. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 11 at St. Mary’s Church with interment at 3 p.m. at Ocean View Cemetery on Patterson Avenue in Burnaby. There will be a celebration of Woolley’s life following the burial.
She is survived her parents, Sandra and Hugh; brothers, Christian and Joseph; sister, Sylvia; grandparents, David and Freda Woolley; uncles, aunts and cousins, Tony, Mary-Ann, Stefan and Franco Micale of Seattle; David, Joanne, William, Nikki and Danielle Douglas of Vancouver; Caroline, Ben and India Parhar of Langley; Alastair, Ping and James Woolley of London, England; as well as many other relatives in Canada, Italy and England.
On Friday, Western will lower the flag on University College in Woolley’s honour.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Natalie’s memory to Covenant House in Vancouver.
