Power interruption closes rec centre and Western Engineering

As Western continues to investigate a power interruption affecting buildings and facilities on the south end of campus, Western Student Recreation Centre (WSRC) is currently closed.

WSRC will re-open when power is restored but Western Engineering offices in Spencer Engineering Building, Thompson Engineering Building, Claudette MacKay-Lassonde Pavilion and the Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel Laboratory are closed for the day.

If there is no power by 5 p.m., all classes in Spencer Engineering Building and Thompson Engineering Building will be cancelled. For all other classes and laboratories, please check with your instructor.

Elborn College and Hume Cronyn Memorial Observatory are also currently without power.
