Western’s Campus Community Police Service is seeking assistance with a hit-and-run collision that took place on campus early Sunday morning.
At approximately 1:25 a.m., a cyclist was struck by a car and thrown to the ground while riding in the bike lane along University Drive on Western’s campus. The driver of the car fled the scene. The student cyclist was treated and released at University Hospital.
Campus police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the vehicle involved in this incident. Police describe the vehicle as small, black in colour with significant damage to the front passenger side.
