Released today by Western President Amit Chakma, the Engaging the Campus Community – Progress Report highlights the actions underway to address the issues and challenges the president heard about from the university community during formal and informal discussions over the last several weeks.
“Since starting in April with my concerted effort to meet with and receive feedback from the campus community, I have been inspired by the passion and dedication our faculty, staff, students and alumni have for our great university,” Chakma wrote today in an email to the university community. “I am pleased to share with you this update which provides an overview of the comments, concerns and suggestions I have heard, as well as action steps that are taking place across our campus. I hope you will find this report informative.”
