Every member of the Western community has the right to study, work and conduct his or her activities in an environment free of harassment and discrimination. With community members from around the world, multiculturalism defines our campus population. Diversity is key to our success both as a university and as a culturally sensitive and inclusive community.
Over the years, the campus community has created more than 60 clubs and student groups to help encourage and support Western’s rich and inclusive environment.
All community members are urged to contact either Campus Community Police or Equity and Human Rights Services to report behaviour that may contravene Western’s Policy on Discrimination and Harassment. Equity and Human Rights Services offer confidential support and resources for Western’s students, staff and faculty: www.uwo.ca/equity/about/.
