A memorial service for (Daniel) Craig Sandre has been set for 12 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, in the Mustang Lounge of the University Community Centre (UCC). The service is open to the entire university community.
Sandre, 21, was in his fourth year as a Social Science student and passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, at his London residence. He was well known on campus from being an Orientation Leader for both Medway-Sydenham Hall, a member of the Social Science Soph team, as well as for working at The Spoke.
Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. There will be limited seating. Following the memorial, a reception will be held in the east side of the Mustang Lounge. Cards of sympathy will be collected at the memorial and a book of condolences will be available to sign as well.
In honour of Sandre’s memory, organizers ask those who attend to wear denim.
