Learn the difference between ‘feeling the blues’ and clinical depression with Strategies for Dealing with Depression seminar presented by Western’s Psychology Department on Saturday, Feb. 14.
This seminar is part of the free lecture series on the psychology of everyday life. The lecture is delivered by Dr. Ian Nicholson, the Psychology Professional Practice Leader at London Health Sciences Centre and an Adjunct Professor of Psychology and Associate Professor of Psychiatry.
Nicholson will discuss the difference between sadness and depression, how to tell if professional help is needed and what effective treatment options are available for dealing with depression.
The lecture will be held at the Central Library, 251 Dundas Street in the Stevenson & Hunt Meeting Room from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
