Thursday, Nov. 18 and has invited local students to discuss
subjects like “Can philosophy improve health?” “What can science
and philosophy learn from each other?” and “What is feminist
philosophy?”

three new collective agreements with Western employee groups at
their meeting this afternoon.

Emma Donoghue, who was The University of Western Ontario’s
writer-in-residence in the 1999-2000 school year, will read from
her acclaimed novel Room at 4:30 p.m. today in North
Campus Building, Room 117. Room was short-listed for this
year’s Man Booker Prize. Sponsored by the Faculty of Information
& Media Studies (FIMS) and The Book Store at Western, the event
is free, although seating is limited. See the FIMS website for more

Western Mustangs won the 103rd OUA Yates Cup football championship
