Panel to debate fate of Olympic wrestling (live stream)
The Western Mustangs, in conjunction with the Canadian Olympic Committee and Wrestling Canada, will host a panel discussion on the status and future of Olympic Wrestling 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 in the Spencer Engineering Building, room 1059. The discussion will also be live streamed at the Streaming Sports Network.

Track and field athlete Caroline Ehrhardt and hockey player Zach Harnden have been named the Western Mustangs Goodlife Fitness Athletes of the Week for Feb. 25 to March 3.

Wrestler Ilya Abelev and hockey player Katelyn Gosling have been named the Western Mustangs Goodlife Fitness Athletes of the Week for Feb. 18-24.

For the second straight year, the Western Mustangs men’s wrestling team has won the OUA Championship, claiming the title Saturday evening in St. Catharines. The Mustangs took first place with 73 points, eclipsing McMaster (67 points) and the host Brock (63 points) for the championship.
