On Monday, Western and the Ivey School of Business celebrated the 90th birthday of Richard M. Ivey, the visionary Western grad, philanthropist and university champion who helped elevate the university’s business school to international prominence.
As part of that celebration, the school delivered 1,400 donuts decorated with purple, green and white sprinkles to the Ivey community in different locations throughout the morning, including to eight HBA1 sections at 8 a.m.; to the HBA2 program at 8:30 a.m. in the Brock Pavilion; to the MBA program at 8 a.m. in the MBA Lounge; to the MSc program at 11 a.m. outside of Richard Ivey Building, room 1340; and to faculty and staff at 10 a.m. in the Leenders Lounge.
In addition to the treats, a birthday message was delivered to the Ivey community from Dean Bob Kennedy.
