How do you remember each passing year on this campus? If you are like us, it is probably through the faces we see every day on this side of The Gates.
Since 2010, Western News has celebrated an always-entertaining, if not wholly original, tradition of Newsmakers of the Year. Announced in the final issue of the calendar year, the special edition of the newspaper celebrates, in brief words and striking images, many of the individuals and groups (and, occasionally, things) that contributed to important conversations on this campus and beyond. Some of these names you know by heart. Others, you may need a little help to remember.
But they are all who we think about when we think about a given year.
