Yunk Young (Susan) Kim, a missing 20-year-old University of Western
Ontario student, has been found safe after an overnight ground
search of the university area by local and campus police and fire

Six students from The University of Western Ontario have been
selected to receive one of the newest and most prestigious
scholarships in Canada – the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship.

following unanimous approval of the 2009-10 operating and capital
budgets by the Board of Governors on April 30.

former Pathology department staff member Donald Gibson, who retired
in 1995 with 21 years of service.
Famous water contamination expert to speak at Western
A graduate of The University of Western Ontario, who was an expert
witness in a complex U.S. legal case involving water contamination,
alleged to have caused cancer in children, will return to his alma
mater on Friday, May 1 as part of the Faculty of Engineering’s
Distinguished Lecture Series.
