Clinical Academic Appointment: Clinical Teacher

The Department of Family Medicine is inviting applications for one full-time clinical academic teaching position within an innovative and exciting Department of Family Medicine. Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent with certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada and be eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario. A relevant master’s degree or interest in pursuing a master’s in clinical science (Family Medicine) or medical education is preferred.

Clinical practice experience is preferred and experience and interest in teaching is essential. The successful candidate will be a Clinician Teacher and hold a full-time limited-term clinical academic appointment at the rank of assistant professor or associate professor, or a continuing clinical academic appointment at the rank of associate professor or professor depending upon qualifications and experience at the time of appointment.

Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience and will be composed primarily of the following sources: fee for service, alternate funding plan and academic support. The successful candidate will be expected to start on Sept. 1, or as negotiated.  Applications will be accepted until the positions are filled. Review of applications will begin after June 1.
