Clinical Academic Position – Neurologist (Movement Disorders)
The Department of Clinical Neurological Sciences at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and the London Health Sciences Centre is seeking a full-time Neurologist with expertise in the treatment of Movement Disorders. The candidate will fill a clinical academic role as a clinician teacher or clinician researcher at Western.
Applicants should be certified, or eligible for certification, in Neurology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent. Candidates must have an MD, or equivalent, and must be eligible for licensure in the province of Ontario. The successful candidate will hold a limited term clinical academic appointment at the rank of assistant professor.
The successful candidate is expected to be a contributing member of the Movement Disorders Program. Candidates will have completed at least two years of fellowship training in Movement Disorders (or equivalent subspecialty training) and/or have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in the management of Movement Disorders patients in an academic environment in North America. Compensation will be based on qualifications and experience and will be composed primarily of the following sources: fee for service, alternative funding plan and academic support.
