Clinical Education Coordinator in Speech-Language Pathology
Limited-Term Faculty Position
The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders of the Faculty of Health Sciences invites applications for a limited-term (potential for renewal) faculty position for three years at the rank of lecturer or assistant professor. Rank and salary will be commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
This academic position will serve the role of Clinical Education Coordinator in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). Duties include coordinating clinical placements and placement trajectories, developing new clinical placements via networking and solicitation, conducting student practicum education, training and supervision in SLP, teaching clinical aspects of SLP, being a mentor to students for clinical education and training, completing administrative duties associated with clinical practicum, undertaking service within the school and faculty, and the possibility of participating in on-going and new research activities.
The anticipated start date of the appointment is July 1. The closing date for receipt of applications is March 27.
