Clinical Supervisor in Speech-Language Pathology

The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western invites applications for a one year, limited-term faculty position (potential for renewal) at the rank of lecturer or assistant professor. Rank and salary will be commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications and experience.

This academic position will serve the role of Clinical Supervisor in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP). Duties include conducting student practicum education, training and supervision in SLP, being a mentor to students for clinical education and training, carrying a general caseload of assessment and treatment of communication disorders in children and/or adults, teaching clinical aspects of SLP, managing clinical resources, completing administrative duties associated with clinical practicum, and undertaking service within the School and Faculty.

The anticipated start date of the appointment is Sept. 1, or as negotiated.
