The Department of Visual Arts invites applications for a two-year limited-term faculty position at the rank of assistant professor in 3-D studio practices. Applications will be considered from qualified candidates who currently have a PhD (preferred) or MFA. The candidate will have expertise in some of the following areas: installation, site-specific work, environmental or public art. Applicants with a proficiency in contemporary theory, such as critical race studies, gender and sexuality studies, and/or disability studies are encouraged to apply. Curatorial experience is an asset.
Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as MFA and PhD supervision.
