Assistant Professor in Mobility and Activity

The Faculty of Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time probationary (tenure-track) position at the rank of assistant professor in the School of Physical Therapy with academic responsibilities in research, teaching and service. Qualified applicants must have a PhD or equivalent and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Applicants demonstrating expertise in enhancing functional mobility that aims to understand, improve, restore, and/or manage, mobility outcomes for the attainment of health and wellness are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to applicants with a strong record of achievements in research for their stage of career.

The selected appointee will be expected to establish and maintain an externally funded research program, teach in the School of Physical Therapy and supervise graduate students in the Faculty of Health Sciences graduate programs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The effective date of the appointment is July 1, or as negotiated.
