Hear from engaging speakers who will ignite our thoughts and creativity. Explore some of Western’s treasured facilities and learn more about the innovative work that happens right here in our workplace.
Scheduled for Feb. 22-23, Ignite, the 2012 Western Staff and Leaders’ Conference, is open to all Western staff and leaders and is funded by the university. There is something for everyone: attend one session or as many as you can. Most conference sessions will be held in the Social Science Centre (SSC), with some offered at other locations around campus.
Keynote speakers include Yvonne Camus, Survival Skills of Life and Work: Discovery Channel’s ‘Eco Challenge’; Joel Sartore, A Changing World: Through the Lens of National Geographic; Ken Steele, The Future Ready Campus; and Jesse Hirsh, Information Technology: Perils and Benefits.
