A King’s University College student club is sponsoring a presentation Friday by National Post columnist Barbara Kay who believes freedom of speech on Canadian campuses is under attack from political correctness.
Interestingly, while the speech is sponsored by the King’s Live For Life club, Kay supports a woman’s right to choose. Kay is expected to discuss free speech and the abortion debate on Canadian campuses, where several clubs have been censured in recent years.
Kay was recently nominated for an award by Beyond Borders, which monitors child abuse around the world. She is a recipient of the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship.
The lecture takes place Dec. 5, 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Wemple Student Lounge at King’s University College.
