Many University of Western Ontario services will be closed Dec. 25 to Jan. 4 for the holiday period. Classes resume on Monday, Jan. 5 and academic and administrative offices re-open the same day.
Western Libraries will close between noon and 1 p.m. on Dec. 24 and most remain closed until Jan. 5, with a couple of exceptions. The Allyn & Betty Taylor Library will open Dec. 30 and Jan. 3 from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The D.B. Weldon Library will open Jan. 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All libraries will resume regular hours on Jan. 5.
The University Community Centre will be closed at 1 p.m. Dec. 24 and the facility will remain closed until Jan. 4. The building will re-open Jan. 5 at 6 a.m. and return to 24-hour operation.
Western Campus Recreation is currently closed, as staff prepare for the partial opening on Jan. 5 of the new Western Student Recreation Centre. Visit campusrec.uwo.ca for further details on programming available at the Student Recreation Centre in January.
The public skating schedule at the Thompson Recreation and Athletic Centre will conclude on Tuesday, Dec. 23 and resume on Jan. 5.
The Grad Club closes at 2 p.m. on Dec. 24 and will re-open Jan. 5 with regular hours.
The University Students’ Council Food Support Service, The Spoke and The Wave are closed until Jan. 5.
Western Film will re-open Jan. 5. with the screening of Role Models.
