The Brass will also be presenting masterclasses. Both trumpeters are Western Music grads.
A few hours later — on Friday, Feb. 6, at 8 p.m. in the Grad Club at Middlesex College — the Jazz Band performs with special guests including singers, a french horn, and jazz violin. Ben Sajo’s (BMus’ 09) “Breakfast” will be premiered.
Then welcome the weekend on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m. in the Music Building Room 345 with the Peter Longworth Chamber Music Masterclass. Longworth is a member of one of Canada’s greatest chamber groups, the Duke Trio.
