The Department of Communications & Public Affairs is preparing to profile some of the extraordinary students who will be graduating at Spring Convocation.
Do you know a graduate who has triumphed over obstacles? What about a graduate who excels at academics, athletics or extracurricular activities (or all three), or who has taken an unusual path to earn a Western degree?
Some graduates have chosen an unusual or exotic career; others have a humorous story to tell. We would like to know who they are.
If you know of a student who would make a good story and who is graduating at Spring Convocation 2009 in June, please pass along the tip by e-mail to newseditor@uwo.ca or by mail to Suite 360 (West Wing), Westminster Hall.
Their stories may become the subject of a university media release or a Western News article.
There is no need to provide a complete biography – simply forward what information you have and we will contact the student for details. Please include the student’s local phone number if possible. Replies by March 13 would be most appreciated.
