The Museum of Ontario Archaeology, an affiliate of The University of Western Ontario, is presenting the 8th annual Underwater Heritage Event this Saturday (April 4), featuring noted underwater photographer Emory Kristof.
The event will feature a series of afternoon seminars (1 to 5 p.m.) and an evening reception and presentation (7 p.m.).
Kristof, a noted National Geographic photographer and pioneer of high-tech underwater photography, has photographed such notable shipwrecks as the Titanic and the Edmund Fitzgerald. He will deliver two seminars – Underwater Project Planning and Management; and Challenges of Underwater Photography and Filming.
The evening presentation will feature Kristof’s presentation on Shipwreck Imagery of the Edmund Fitzgerald, Titanic and the Second World War Bismarck.
Tickets are available through the museum at $20 for the afternoon sessions, $25 for the evening event and $40 for both events.
