Dr. Glenn Bauman, Chair of the Department of Oncology at The University of Western Ontario is the inaugural recipient of the President’s Award for Living Our Core Values – How We Work Together, awarded by the London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC).
Bauman, who is also a Radiation Oncologist at the London Regional Cancer Program, is described by colleagues as a leader who does not hesitate to “heap praise on others” and is always willing to extend help and advice to others. He is recognized as a respected, trusted and collaborative team player at all levels, demonstrating LHSC’s core values on a daily basis.

The new President’s Award Program at LHSC builds on the original President’s Award for Community Service by adding two new awards for Living Our Core Values, – How We Work Together and How We Serve Our Patients.
The award recognizes staff, physicians and volunteers who dedicate themselves every day to improving the lives of patients, the hospital, and the community.
Other award recipients are Heather Fisher, Nurse Clinician and Cathy Mawdsley, Clinical Nurse Specialist.
A reception for the recipients will be held today (June 3) at LHSC University Hospital in the President’s Gallery, near the cafeteria on Level 3. The event begins at 4:15 p.m. and Cliff Nordal, President and Chief Executive Officer of LHSC will honour the recipients.
