Law Dean Ian Holloway has been elected a Trustee of the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) at its conference in San Antonio, Texas.
Holloway is the first ever non-American to be elected to the LSAC’s Board of Trustees. His will serve a three-year term.
The LSAC is the organization that develops and oversees the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). The LSAT is required for admission to all accredited law schools in the United States, and most law schools in Canada.
This year, the LSAT was administered for the first time in India, Australia and China for use by law schools in those countries that teach law as a second entry degree, in the North American model.
