Come out for a rare opportunity to hear a unique repertoire of music performed by the National Youth Orchestra of Canada at The University of Western Ontario on Thursday, July 23 and Saturday, July 25.
Nearly 100 performers fine-tuned their skills through hours of training at the Don Wright Faculty of Music this summer. These talented musicians, including five current Western students and recent alumni, will be taking their instruments on the road after two performances at Alumni Hall.
The orchestra concerts will be held at 7:30 p.m. and admission is by donation (suggested contribution is $20 or a CD purchase).
The program prepares the young musicians for careers in a professional orchestra. Following the local performances, students will be touring throughout Ontario and Quebec. To view the complete concert listing visit www.nyoc.org/tour.
