Putter about in Support Services

The annual H. Lorne Hathaway Memorial Mini Golf Tournament hits the hallways of the new Support Services Building on July 16 with all proceeds to support needy families.

The tournament name commemorates a 25-year employee of Financial Services who always held a mini-putt tournament in his back yard.

The fee is $2, but organizers urge participants to bring extra loonies for surprises along the course.

A number of HP prizes and an auction item are available including an iPaq with Bluetooth, wireless internet, GPS and phone; multi-functional printer, copier and fax machine; home photo centre; as well as a $50 Best Buy gift card.

The nine-hole course will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with no advance tee times. The course will take you through the Support Services Building, starting at Western Office Supplies (Room 1330).

Expect a round to take about 20 minutes to play. Prize winners will be notified by July 17.
