Theology is on tap for a speaker series this year with a different twist.
Theology on Tap is described as a “cooperative, ecumenical effort to probe the depths of serious Christian reflection on faith, life, culture, and morality in a ‘come as you are’ atmosphere.”
The venture is a partnership among the Roman Catholic Church, the Anglican Church of Canada, and Christian Reformed Church in North America. More information is at www.theologyontap.ca.
Visit the Wave at 8 p.m. for happy hour followed at 9 p.m. by the program.
The series begins Sept. 16 with Robert Joustra, researcher for the public policy think tank Cardus and principal author of the 2008 report Toronto the Good. Joustra will explore how people who hold to religious belief engage in public dialogue and advocacy.
