Get the latest on cardiovascular research and treatment at the 20th Annual R.W. Gunton Symposium on Cardiovascular Therapeutics being held Wednesday, Sept. 16 from noon to 5 p.m. in auditorium A (3rd floor) at University Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre.
The half day event is sponsored by the Robarts Research Institute and the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at The University of Western Ontario.
The keynote lecture features Dr. Andrew Pipe of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute discussing tobacco addiction and advances in smoking cessation therapies. Dr. Ramsay Gunton, for whom the symposium is named, will share his perspective on advances made in the past half century in managing heart attack patients.
