Are you a faculty or staff member who needs volunteers?
Experience is everything! Western’s Volunteer Program helps motivated students find positions that support faculty and staff. Each year more than 100 students dedicate their time to voluntary participation.
Students gain valuable experience while supporting the campus community. Students have provided assistance developing newsletters, conducting research, working in labs, updating departmental websites and communications, performing committee work, providing library assistance, and helping other students.
By creating enriching projects within your department, you provide an opportunity for students to refine their skills and expand their realm of experience. Students who are awarded this chance can become more competitive candidates for future employment and/or educational opportunities.
Faculty and staff who have participated in the Volunteer Program have given high ratings to their volunteers and to their experience with the program, and have been eager to continue their involvement.
