What does history tell us about hosting the Olympic Games? This question is tackled by Western acting dean of Health Sciences and former director of the International Centre for Olympic Studies Kevin Wamsley as part of the Globe and Mail’s Intellectual Muscle podcast series.
As Canada prepares to host the world’s best, Vancouver 2010, The Globe and Mail and universities across Canada are partnering on a project inviting the public to flex their intellect via podcasts by some of the country’s best minds on topics related to the 2010 Winter Games.
Each lecture is featured as an audio podcast and the online program will include polls, discussion forums and other interactive features.
Wamsley is currently featured on the Intellectual Muscle: University Dialogues for Vancouver 2010 website.
