Centre gets new space
The renovation of 13,500 square feet on the second floor of Natural Science Centre will create a new location for the Centre for Brain and Mind. The project’s scope, not expected to exceed $2.3 million, will create a research lab and graduate student space, as well as research office areas. In addition building upgrades will include a new mechanical room with two new air handlers, and an upgrade of the HVAC and electrical systems. The renovation includes a substantial improvement of barrier-free access and removal of asbestos.
