Hospitality Services staff member Jacqueline Hassall will lead the university’s Professional and Managerial Association after being named president, replacing Alumni Relations and Development’s Hallie McClelland.
Hassall says she looks to ensure the PMA continues to be recognized as “a group of individuals who are to be valued as we strive to achieve excellence and innovation in all areas, which include academics, research, ancillaries, services and development, to name a few.”
The Annual General Meeting of the PMA was held May 11 where long serving member Kim Holland was awarded the Nancy Kendall Award, recognizing exceptional service to the membership of PMA.
A full slate of officers for 2010 – 2011 was also elected, including:

A rebranding of the PMA has been completed and a newly designed website will soon be launched.
