The University of Western Ontario will showcase its talented students, researchers and market-changing technologies next week (May 17-18) at Discovery 2010 – Canada’s foremost innovation and commercialization event.
With the ability to connect with business leaders, investors, researchers and entrepreneurs, the event is an opportunity to meet people whose cutting-edge ideas and technologies are driving Ontario’s innovation economy, such as emerging trends in advanced health, clean technology, digital media, manufacturing and the green economy.
Hosted by Ontario Centres of Excellence at Toronto’s Convention Centre, the conference brings together more than 2,500 business leaders, investors and entrepreneurs.
Apple co-founder and philanthropist Steve Wozniak will give the opening keynote lecture, followed by a number of interactive demonstrations, presentations and panel discussions on such topics as the management of water resources and Ontario’s solar energy future.
