Swarms of students in multi-hued T-shirts moving across university hill are a familiar sight during Orientation Week. But on Monday, Sept. 6, associate professor of Education Marshall Mangan got to see the crowd on University College hill from a different angle.
Mangan was floating overtop campus in a hot air balloon, a birthday gift from his wife, when he noticed the rainbow of clothing. He captured the moment with a photograph.
Expect the vibrant energy on campus to continue, as classes begin Monday, Sept. 13.
