Deborah Tunis, Citizenship and Immigration Canada, Integration Branch director-general, presents the Harold Crabtree Foundation Award in Public Policy Special Lecture as part of the Western Centre for Research on Migration and Ethnic Relations Colloquium Series at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21 in the McKellar Theatre, University Community Centre (UCC).
Tunis will speak on the topic “Fostering an Integrated Society: An Aspiration or a Reality?” following an introduction by Brian Timney, Faculty of Social Sciences dean. Over her distinguished career, Tunis has worked in many areas of social policy including child poverty, homelessness, disability, children and family issues and has developed responses to long-term and ongoing social policy issues.
