The Ontario Music Educators Association is holding its annual
conference in London Friday and Saturday and will feature
performances by faculty, clinicians and students from the Don
Wright Faculty of Music.
Ivey HBA team wins international case competition in Hong Kong
The Richard Ivey School of Business’ HBA Case Team finished first
in the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology (HKUST)
Citi Case Competition against 18 other undergraduate programs from
the United States, Europe and Asia – including three from Canada.
This particular event has been held the past eight years and is
considered one of the most prestigious undergraduate competitions
in the world.
Talks with UWOFA continue
12:05 a.m. – The University of Western Ontario and its Faculty
Association (UWOFA) are continuing negotiations to secure a new
collective agreement. UWOFA is now in a legal strike position,
however talks continue.

Imagine spending two nights between the paws of the Sphinx.
London’s poet laureate Penn Kemp presents such an experience in her
Sound Opera, Helwa! Experiencing Ancient Egypt in a multi-media,
multi-dimensional event on Nov. 4, hosted by The Circle Women’s
Centre at Brescia University College.

strike by members of The University of Western Ontario Faculty
Association (UWOFA). The two groups have been meeting all day to
come to an agreement as the possibility of a faculty strike looms
large for students and others at Western.

University of Western Ontario professor Alison Konrad was one of 17
Canadian women recently named to The International Alliance for
Women (TIAW) “World of Difference 100 list.” The list recognizes
unsung heroes who have championed for gains on behalf of women.

strike deadline set for early Wednesday, Nov. 3 and The University
