Tim Long, long-time writer and producer of The Simpsons, will be speaking to University of Western Ontario students today (Nov. 22) at 12:30 p.m. in Social Science Centre Room 2024.
The Exeter, Ont. native is going to speak to students from the humour writing course in the Writing, Rhetoric, and Professional Communication program. While priority will be given to students in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, everyone is welcome to attend the talk.
Long has been a key force behind The Simpsons, one of the most successful TV shows of all time. He will be sharing insights on humour and how to survive in the world of Hollywood comedy.
Admission is free, but seating is limited.
