UPDATE 3:40 p.m. – Classes and exams at The University of Western Ontario are cancelled for the remainder of today due to the weather. Staff who are scheduled to come to campus to work later today should check in with their supervisor before leaving home. The University is continuing to monitor the weather and will post any updates on the home page (www.uwo.ca) and Western’s official Facebook and Twitter pages. Please note as well that all Western Libraries and the Western Student Recreation Centre are now closed for the day. For information on how weather conditions are affecting Western affiliated university colleges, please consult their websites.
UPDATE 11:45 a.m.: All Western Libraries will be closed as of 12 p.m. today. All current library users are to leave the premises no later than noon.
The Western Student Recreation Centre (WSRC) will be closing at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 6 due to weather conditions. As of now the WSRC will re-open its doors at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 7 unless the University issues a class/exam cancelation for tomorrow and closes officially. For students currently in exams or classes, please proceed home once the class or exam is complete. Faculty are invited to head home as their own responsibilities permit.
