The McIntosh Gallery has partnered with the Art Exchange to present Lea Bucknell: Forest City Garden Project, a special display of plants and stories from the community.
As the McIntosh Gallery’s 2011 Artist in the Community, Bucknell combines her interests in geography and art in this unique project.
Through a series of interviews and exchanges Bucknell has been collecting plants and stories from people throughout London. These are currently on display in recycled wood planters installed in an old store in historic Wortley Village at 156 Wortley Road.
Lea Bucknell: Forest City Garden Project is open from Wednesday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. until July 1 (or by appointment).
