Have your say and help The University of Western Ontario redesign its online look.
The Department of Communications and Public Affairs has started work on redesigning the university’s homepage, uwo.ca, and its second-level pages. A project of this scope requires months of careful planning and intense collaboration. The end result hopes to provide users with a user-centred, vibrant and intuitive homepage.
“The best way for Western to effectively redesign its website is to seek input from the people that use it every day,” says Terry Rice, director (marketing and creative services). “We plan to do this in a variety of ways, including interviews, online surveys, as well as reviewing analytics and web best-practice.
“We’re in the early days of this research, but already the Western community is responding with great feedback.”
Starting tomorrow, you will have a chance to contribute to the redesign by filling out a short survey. Over the next two weeks every fifth user of the homepage will see a pop-up with an invitation to participate in the survey. Simply click on the invitation to be taken to the 10-question survey.
