Burke: Egg-smoking comparison is ‘ridiculous’
The original article from the journal of Atherosclerosis fails to analyze the other food intake and exercise habits of all the study participants (‘Research finds egg yolks almost as bad as smoking,’ Aug. 13).
Lougheed: Not Egg-xactly correct
I have to believe that the inclusion of the word ‘exponential’ is a mistake, since it can’t be a typo (‘Research finds egg yolks almost as bad as smoking,’ Aug. 13).
Webster: Close doesn’t count
Research finds egg yolks almost as bad as smoking (Aug. 13). Two-thirds is not almost.
Cranwell: OK to trade for a pack-a-day habit?
I am 74 years old. I have never smoked, but have eaten eggs all my life.
