A new course will begin in September for Western’s CIM (Canadian Institute of Management) program. New participants are welcome. The Western CIM program is available to Western’s academic and administrative leaders and staff who are engaged in human resources, accounting or financial management functions as part of their work (e.g. Managers, Directors, Administrative Officers, Unit Leaders, or other roles in any bargaining unit – in a Faculty or support unit).
The fall course is:
Introduction to Human Resource Management. Classes will be held on Wednesday mornings, Sep 12 – Dec 5 from 8:30am-11:30am in UCC 63. Examples and assignments are tailored to Western’s workplace.
The Western CIM program is a great opportunity to learn with colleagues from across campus. Advanced Educational Assistance funding is available to participants according to his/her employee agreement.
