Western’s Statistical and Actuarial Sciences Department will be hosting in London part of the international 2013 Math Kangaroo contest. Associate Professor, Dr. Hristo Sendov will be acting as site coordinator for the event.
In 2012, more than 6,000,000 students from grade 1 to grade 12, from 46 countries around the world, participated in the contest. In Canada, the 2013 Math Kangaroo contest is available in Toronto, Ottawa, Sudbury, Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Halifax, Thunder Bay, North Bay, London, Langley, and St. John’s.
