Thanks to the donations of many friends and strangers, the body of Western alumnus Nate Holder, known to many as Nate Black, will return home to be buried following Holder’s sudden death Feb. 23 in Mexico. Holder, BA’08 (Kinesiology), was on vacation with friends in Cancun, Mexico, when he became ill and died. A GoFundMe website was set up in order to raise the $20,000 needed for the repatriation process; more than $40,000 was eventually raised.
