King’s University College professor Paul Werstine, a Literature professor and Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, has been named the first Hugh Mellon Excellence in Research Award recipient, the King’s Faculty Research Activities Committee announced last week. Werstine has been a model of excellence in research and publication, the committee said, and has radically transformed the field of Shakespeare scholarship.
