The McIntosh Gallery reopens Friday with the master of fine arts exhibitions of John Cushnie and Kelly O’Dette.
The gallery has been closed throughout the summer and will reopen with Cushnie’s “Eidolon Prospects” and O’Dette’s “Slide/Swipe: Moving and Falling Still.” The exhibition opens Aug. 20 at 7 p.m.
The Department of Visual Arts is launching the book, Intersections, which documents the master’s of fine arts thesis exhibitions by John Cushnie, Soheila K. Esfahani, Kelly O’Dette and Jamie Q, and includes essays by Jason Hallows, Trista E. Mallory, Jennifer Orpana, and Matthew Ryan Smith, with an introduction by David Merritt.
The exhibitions continue until Sept. 19.
During the academic year, the gallery will be open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday noon to 4 p.m. The building is closed on Sunday.
Admission to the gallery is free.
